Brief
Design Technology International were commissioned to design and develop a new range of instant boiling water dispensers for the domestic, commercial and catering markets. Building on their range of conventional water heaters the new product range provides instant boiling water 24 hours a day.

The challenge was to design a range of five products offering differing capacities for use in a variety of environments. Externally the designs had to be compact, easy to clean and simple to operate. Internally the challenge was to minimize component size, simplify manufacture and increase thermal efficiency. Rugged stainless steel variants for catering and institutional markets had to be visually compatible with injection moulded variants for domestic and commercial markets.

The energy saving benefits of the Supreme range are significant and Heatrae Sadia were anxious to introduce the product to the market as quickly as possible.
