For the manufacture of injection moulded parts, tooling can be machined from QC7 Aluminium, or machined from P20 toughened steel or hardened steel. Typically machined QC7 Aluminium tooling is suitable for manufacture of 5,000 to 20,000 parts. P20 and hardened steel tooling is very durable and will comfortably produce 100,000 + components.
